A word from the Vicar
St. Andrew's is a vibrant, growing congregation with a diverse population of members who have come from places near and far to make their home in the Mountain Home area. Many of our members are engaged in various outreach ministries within the community
Strong, healthy relationships with one another and with Christ our Lord are the essence of the Christian journey. Therefore fellowship among the members of St. Andrew's is very important to us. We seek opportunities to be together often to share the love of God in Christ with each other.
Christian formation for our children and adults is also a priority. Our educational opportunities for both children and adults are designed to encourage and enhance each person's relationship with God and one another.
Most importantly we are a "eucharistic community." The term, eucharist, is from the Greek word for thanksgiving. Our common life is centered in our regular, intentional offering of thanksgiving for the reconciling love of God for the world made known through Jesus Christ. We are never more true to ourselves as a community than when we are at worship; praying together and sharing in the holy meal at the altar of our Lord.
We want to welcome you to our community and look forward to sharing with you in the Christian journey.
The Reverend Pamela S. Morgan, Vicar
